Frohe Ostern!

Gestern Abend fing die 6. Staffel "Doctor Who" an. Yay! SPOILER-WARNUNG

Ob die Folge gut oder schlecht ist kann ich zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch überhaupt nicht sagen. Es sind sehr viele Dinge, sehr viel verwirrende Dinge, dutzende offene Enden und einige übergroße "What?!.  Erst wenn die Auflösung zu all dem kommt werde ich entscheiden können, ob mir "The Impossible Astronaut" gefällt.

Die Folge ist Elizabeth Sladen (Sarah Jane) gewidmet, die kürzlich verstarb. 

Danach wird die Folge aber mit einem Schmunzler eröffnet durch dieses faszinierende Gemälde vom Doctor... 

Die Folge spielt in Amerika! Und kaum kommt der Doctor nach Amerika wird er erschossen. Und zwar mehrfach, sodass er richtig tot ist. Also tot-tot. Und endgültig. Interessanter Einstieg für eine neue Staffel.

Tatsächlich ist da der Doctor aus der Zukunft gestorben. Der Doctor in der "richtigen" Timeline ist nämlich erst 909 Jahre alt, derjenige, der stirbt, aber 1103. Womit sich die Macher der Serie, sollte es bei diesem Tod-Tod bleiben (wobei ich davon ausgehe, dass "Time can be rewritten" wieder zum Einsatz kommt), recht stark in die Ecke geschrieben hätten. Zunächst würde das festlegen, dass der 11. Doctor ziemlich alt wird, was bei seinem Lebensstil höchst unwahrscheinlich ist, und dass er der letzte wäre. Davon gehe ich nicht aus, aber die Folge ist so verworren...

Erneut eine tolle Gegenüberstellung des kindlichen und des bedrohlichen Doctors. 

Kindliche Szenen: "Kontrolle" der Tardis und die diversen Kopfbedeckungen ^^ 

Bedrohlich: Der Doctor merkt, dass seine Companions ihm etwas verschweigen und er fängt an daran zu zweifeln, ob er ihnen trauen kann. "Don't play games with me. Don't ever, ever think you're capable of that." <-- Woah, scary Doctor. 

Und nur Amy kann sein Vertrauen gewinnen - aww ^^ Doctor: "Swear to me on something that matters." Amy: "Fish fingers and custard." Doctor: "My life in your hands, Amy Pond."

Wie der Doctor in den Tod geht ist ganz großartig dargestellt. 

Und wie schön die so tragische Story von River thematisiert wird. (Zwei Zeitreisende die sich in entgegengesetzte Richtung treffen) "Trouble is, it's all back to front. My past is his future. We're travelling in opposite directions. Every time we meet I know him more, he knows me less. I live for the days when I see him. But I know that every time I do he'll be one step further away. The day's coming when I'll look into that man's eyes-my Doctor-and he won't have the faintest idea who I am. And I think it's going to kill me." 

Aber erneut das große Rätsel "Wer ist River Song?" Es bestimmt schon das 5. Mal dass der Doctor sie ganz  genau in Augenschein nimmt und direkt fragt: "Who are you? Why are you in prison? Who did you kill?"

Ich bin mir eigentlich ziemlich sicher, dass River ihn irgendwann mal tötet, aber dann wiederum bleiben die Fragen, warum sie seinen Namen kennt und die Tardis so viel besser kennt.

Die Aliens sind creepy, jedoch habe ich das Gefühl, dass es nicht die Bösen sind. Und auch nicht diejenigen, die da diesen Tardis-Nachbau (siehe "The Lodger") gemacht haben. 

Eine neue Staffel mit einem so üblen Cliffhanger zu beginnen ist schon brutal. Jetzt bleibt nur die Hoffnung, dass das meiste zumindest nächste Folge aufgelöst wird und nicht über die 6 Folgen verteilt. 

Ich möchte auch gar keine Mutmaßungen oder Theorien äußern zu all den vielen Fragen, denn irgendwie könnte ALLES möglich sein.

Tolle Zitate:

Doctor: "I wear a Stetson now. Stetsons are cool."

Doctor: "I've been running. Faster than I've ever run. And I've been running my whole life. Now it's time for me to stop."

Doctor: "A picnic. And then a trip. Somewhere different. Somewhere brand new."

Amy: "1103. You were 908 last time I saw you."
The Doctor: "And you've put on a couple of pounds. I wasn't going to mention it. "

Doctor: "Oh, a lot more happens in '69 than anyone remembers. Human beings. I thought I'd never get done saving you."

River: "We're his friends. We do what the Doctor's friends always do. As we're told." (Yeeeeah, right ;-) )

The Doctor: "And Doctor River Song. Oh you bad bad girl. What trouble have you got for me this time? {she smacks him} Okay. I'm assuming that's for something I haven't done yet."
River: "Yes it is."
The Doctor: "Good. Looking forward to it. "

Doctor: "1969. That's an easy one. Funny how some years are easy. Now 1482, full of glitches."

River: "He's interacted with his own past. It could rip a hole in the Universe."
Amy: "Except he's done it before!"
Rory: "And in fairness the Universe did blow up." 

Doctor: "That child just told you everything you need to know, but you weren't listening."

Nixon: "Who are you?"
The Doctor: Nah, boring question. "Who's phoning you?" That's interesting."  

Nixon: Your five minutes are up.
The Doctor: Yeah, and where's my fez? 

Amy: "Why did you have to kill her?"
The Silent: "Joy. Her name was Joy. Your name is Amelia. You will tell the Doctor."
Amy: "Tell him what?"
The Silent: "What he must know. And what he must never know." 

The Doctor: "Canton, on no account follow me into this box and close the door behind you."

Amy: "Okay, but why would anyone want to trap us?"
The Doctor: "Don't know. Let's see if anyone tries to kill us and work backwards."

Amy: "I mean if you could make it all the way to Earth why steal technology that could barely make it to the moon?"
The Doctor: "Maybe 'cause it's cooler! Look at how cool this stuff is."

The Doctor: "Life signs?"
River: "No. Nothing that's showing up."
The Doctor: "Those are the worst kind ."

Doctor: "'Course I'm okay. I'm always okay. I'm king of okay."
