Born in Houston, Texas, Lil Flip is a outstanding rapper known for his freestyle ability and for becoming one of the first Houston rap artists to become mainstream and internationally known. His 1st album entitled "Leprechaun" was released independently and with the hit single "I Can Do That", the album sold over 200 000 units. This is judged by hip hop critics as one of the most popular independent releases to date. He later released 2 more albums (Undaground Legend/ U gotta Feel Me) and achieved double platinum status. On both albums, he collaborated with other artists including Ludacris, Three 6 Mafia etc and dropped club anthems which included "Game Over" and "Sunshine".
