A few months away from Linegage....

von: coronis

Currently I don't have the time to play Lineage - too much design work (www.pro-pixelmedia.de) and I need to help my family. I hope to be back in May. I kept all my equipment and Jusitier cares about my puppies :)
I'll post a few lines from time to time...So long!

von: coronis

For those who are not very familiar with english terms, beyond the pale is a term for "people who don't lfollow lfollow the mainstream" (hey, I'm german don't kick me if its not 100% correct!) Whenever you have the time to built your own mind - take it and you'll notice something (Ok, I'm a teacher don't expect none urban slogans from me :)

Little Who is Who...

von: coronis

There I write and write about my little adventures without introduce myself and my fluffy fured friends...

This is me. An Elf with 12 STR, 13 DEX, 16 CON and 13 WIS. My element is wind.
I do things like camping Drakes without arrows, going for Dark Elder without pots, hunting Lesser Dragons & Demons with dogs, go for DI Unis in Goblin morph or yelling at Succubus Queens at DVC 5f. If you see tons of Iron Golems at IT 8f chasing an elf, its most likely me.
Whenever you see me running and crying "Help!" - prepare for the pure evil comming up on your screen ;P I usually hunt with my pets, those are:

HairyArmpit, level 45, 339HP. Antilles tamed it years ago and left him into my hands for further training. HairyArmpit is really a cool dog, he almost never loses his poise. A little lazy and only eating and sleeping in mind, he is still the number one when it comes to battle. His favorite foods are eggs and carrots (strange mix but well...).

Maybe I'll evolve him one day but for now I need his experience as leader for the other fured fellas in the group...

LolQQ, level 29, 309HP. I bought him as lvl 45 (or 44) dober and evolved him later. This dog is just crazy! Sometimes I'm afraid to leave him alone with the other dogs - he eats almost everything that moves: Fire Archers, Bomb Flowers or Dragon Flies - he owns them all o.o

True, he is a little fat but with HairyArmpit's eggs and carrots diet, he'll be in shape sooner or later...

Askat, level 31, 237HP. I tamed him in elven forrest. It took me almost 2 years to make him listen to my commands. He's just a wild thing and I still have trouble to keep him by feet when rabbits, cows, hens or pigs are near. No wonder that all mops go for him when they feel his shark sharpen teeth in their flesh.

Sure, he is wild but he's always up for rumbble with other players or pets - no need to be scared - he just wants to play - he's still a youngster :)

That's all for now - hope to cya around on Ken...

Frustrating News

von: coronis

Some people told me that only a level 50 Dark Elf can start the quest to make a Kaiser weapon and that this quest is a one time quest - means only one Kaiser weapon per Dark Elf! Well, that's frustrating, especially now where I've made my first Kaiser Stone.
I really hope that NC will change it so that all level 50 players have the chance to make a Kaiser weapon or at least those classes who can use the weapons. My DE is lvl 35, I'll stop leveling him at level 45...

I sold my elemental rings and bought +7 Bracer, my first +7 reg. item on this char :) Now I'm working on +7 demon boots, same AC as Iron Boots but only 15lbs, perfect for an elf.

Got a few nice drops in the last few days: Lastabad Robe, bzel, Dark Cloaks and those you can see below.

The ultimate Purify Stone Project

von: coronis

The Kaiser Crossbow project forced me to make my own 18 WIS Dark Elf. I need a b-xbow and 3 Kaiser Stones to make the Kaiser Crossbow. Well, thanks to Justifiers help I've finished the b-xbow already, now come the Kaiser Stones. With that in mind I asked myself: Is the level really that important to make a Kaiser Stone? Well, I think it is not! To prove that I'll turn 500 Bring Stones every level until lvl 45, splitted in 5 series of 100 Brings.
I think the inital chance to turn brings into darks is: WIS+Level. But for each next stone level the success rate falls by half. Let's look at this in an example:

Lvl 35, 18 WIS: Brings to Dark: 53%, Dark to Brave 22%, Brave to Wise 11%, Wise to Kaiser 5%
Lvl 45, 18 WIS: Brings to Dark: 63%, Dark to Brave 31%, Brave to Wise 15%, Wise to Kaiser 7%

Its more luck to make a Kaiser than lvl or WIS. In the end it's only 2% per 10 Level! That's my theorie.

First results for level 31, 19 WIS (18 base):
----------------------------------------------------------
Brings 100 -> Dark  49 -> Brave    9 -> Wise  4
Brings 100 -> Dark  49 -> Brave  13 -> Wise  0
Brings 100 -> Dark  50 -> Brave  11 -> Wise  0
Brings 100 -> Dark  42 -> Brave  11 -> Wise  3
Brings 100 -> Dark  52 -> Brave  12 -> Wise  0
----------------------------------------------------------
Brings 500 -> Dark 294 -> Brave  56 -> Wise  7
=============================

As you can imagine I need MANY brings to complete this test, I welcome any donations of bring stones! Whisper me on Ken: Coronis or ElPopel
