Electronic Music. Tectonic and Electro dance
In accordance with Wikipedia, electro dance and tectonic are the same. These are also called Milky Way dance, however, admirers of contemporary dances claim that these are a bit different dance styles. Well, I am not offering to make term paper online, or even topics essays describing the differences, especially considering the fact that both are really similar. 
The key music choice for these dances are Fast-paced techno and electro house. The movements of this dance are focused mainly on hands, and look like a random throwing up of hands, and head movements. The history of electro dance development started in 2002 when Cyril Blanc and Alexandre Barouzden arranged Tectonic parties that were intended to develop two dancing styles: hardstyle and jumpstyle. When DJs of various styles met on the single party, the Tectonic killer parties became the origination of the electro dance as we know it today. The name of the dance originates from the tectonic plates.
The current development of the electro dance has not breached internet borders and night clubs. The key reason is that inexperienced dancers look too silly, while there are no official schools and lessons for tectonic. Hence, most dancers exchange their experience with others on the internet, and show the results of their efforts on the YouTube. Hence, the development of this music movement can not be regarded as full-fledged due to the fact that most representatives are not professional dancers.
