Berlin two
The last trip to Berlin was with Dilek after we first met in Stuttgart, so it was a dream trip. We stayed in a hostel at Rosa Luxemburg Square, from our window we saw the red word „Ost“ on top of the theater, where we saw a fascinating Picasso-Revue the next evening. Mostly we strolled through „east“, to Dorotheenstädtischer Friedhof with tombs of Brecht, Weigel, Heiner Müller, Hegel! (Marx put him feet to the ground again), we went up and down Oranienburger- and Friedrichstrasse, we came near the Tränenpalast and Charité, we went down Unter den Linden and saw a big video installation by Bill Viola and wonderful arrangements of bicycles and their shadows at Humboldt-University, finally we took a ship on Spree up to the new Kanzleramt. But east we liked most. Three dream days were over in time of a happy smile
